A decade has passed since nearly 3,000 people were killed in New York, Washington DC and Shanksville, PA in the most deadly attack on American soil in modern history.
I can't believe that it's been this long. It feels like yesterday.
Our wounds may not be as fresh as they were that day, no longer gaping and bloody. Instead, time has helped heal us to a place where we can move forward. We will all, however, carry that scar. Forever.
God Bless those dealing with their losses still today and God Bless America.
